Project Description
El Refugio Del Burrito is a registered Spanish Association primarily concerned with the welfare of donkeys and mules have been involved with many rescue cases in Spain and indeed across Europe. They also investigate cases of neglect and cruelty and lobby for improved legislation for the animals in Spain and Europe.  They are closely associated with The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Southern England.

We have been delighted to support them with a donation to build a new stable block for rescued donkeys and mules that are being treated or indeed are staying at the centre.
